Cancun was fabulous

When you have stayed married to the same person for 25 years, THAT is cause for celebration!

Kevin and I decided to take a trip to Cancun.

This is from our romantic dinner at an Italian restaurant on the lagoon.

A visit to see the ruins at Chichen Itza is a MUST! It was blistering hot that day and I couldn't get my little hubby to put away the phone, but we saw one of the newly named wonders of the world. It is incredible to think about how long these buildings have been here. I especially loved the main temple, the ball arena and the cenote (pictured below). Afterwards, we had a good old mexican dinner complete with the cutest little mexican children dancers and then a long bus ride back to the hotel. A very memorable day!
After spending 24/7 together, Kevin decided to trade me in for a new model. He was tricked at the dealership and ended up with a bag of bones! :)
Here is our little suprise guest at our dinner on the lagoon. This 6 foot critter was just off the deck where we ate. She and her partner live right there by the restaurant. They were very polite though and didn't cause any trouble. We even threw her some steak, but she didn't flinch. We could have touched her, she was so close! That's something you don't see often while dining!
We really enjoyed our time in Cancun. Kevin even purchased another timeshare week so that we can take the family back there again and again and again... We even decided to make the anniversary trip an annual event. We'll try someplace different next year.

It's a good thing we like each other!

You are so spoiled! Like I said, you live the life... I don't know if you get get any luckier. I like that about you though. It looks like you had fun and when you said blistering hot, it reminded me of that day me, you, and aubs went to some mayan ruins or something and it was like 119 degrees and 100 percent humidity. I thought I was going to die!!

Your profile sounds like you have a wonderful family, but I did not see any mention of your favorite brother!!! :(
